San MarcosSan Marcos sits just north of the Guadalupe lake system in Hays County. A lot of the owners we work with live in and around San Marcos and keep a weekend or second place on one of the lakes downriver. If that is you, the lakes we build on, Dunlap, McQueeney, Placid, and Seguin, are a short drive south.
We build the full range on those lakes: steel and concrete boathouses, docks, boat and jet ski lifts, bulkheads, and retaining walls. Because our shop is in New Braunfels and our crew works these lakes every week, a San Marcos owner gets a builder who is already close to the property and familiar with the local water and permitting.
Permitting depends on which lake your property is on. Work on the Guadalupe lake system goes through the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority and the county the property sits in, either Comal or Guadalupe. We handle the permit research and applications in-house.
The first step is a visit to the property. We look at the shoreline, the water, and anything already built, then put together a written scope and price.
