Boat Dock Construction

Docks provide access to the water and connect lakefront structures. Waterfront Unlimited projects often involve removing deteriorated docks and constructing new structures designed for durability and long-term use.

  • Dock construction
  • Dock replacement
  • Dock improvements
  • Docks attached to boathouses or built as separate structures

How we build

Docks are built on the same foundation as our boathouses: steel pipe pilings driven to refusal, steel framing, and poured concrete decks. Replacing an aging wood dock with a steel and concrete system means decades of use without the maintenance wood demands, and a marine barge gives us water-side access where land staging is limited.

Where we build

Docks across the Guadalupe lake system

Waterfront Unlimited builds docks across the Guadalupe River lake system. Each lake has distinct conditions that affect dock design, foundation requirements, and construction methods.

Dock construction on Lake McQueeney. Lake McQueeney's dam is complete and the lake has refilled. Strong demand for dock and boathouse construction after the lake refill.

Dock construction on Lake Dunlap. Lake Dunlap was restored in 2023 and has been one of our most active dock construction markets since.

Dock construction on Lake Placid. Lake Placid near Seguin has refilled. Many existing docks need full replacement after the drawdown.

Dock construction on Lake Seguin. Constant-level river conditions provide predictable dock construction timelines.

Dock construction on Meadow Lake. Dock replacement and waterfront rebuild projects on Meadow Lake.
